Please accept this letter as an expression of my interest in Family Practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) position with your practice. I am a highly motivated CRNP with a long-standing background in the healthcare industry. I have worked for an Internal medicine office for the last 4 years as a CRNP. With a track record of leadership and dependability, I believe I will prove valuable to your organization.

Throughout the course of my career, I learned to appreciate all disciplines as I started my career as an LPN, earned a Bachelor’s degree and then after graduating nursing school. I then worked as a float nurse for one year at a Level one Trauma Facility Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. I then worked on their trauma/post-operative unit where I became a leader and expert nurse. I also experienced three years of Conemaugh Home Health where I had decided to further my education at that time. In 2019 I graduated Family Nurse Practitioner School with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and then had then had the opportunity to begin working at an outpatient Internal Medicine office for the next four years. I enjoy working as a CRNP, I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. The care I provide includes but is not limited to routine office visits, acute visits, hospital follow up visits, disease management and health prevention visits, ordering & reviewing diagnostic testing, ordering patient care supplies, and placing appropriate referrals when needed.

I am CPR and ACLS certified. I also am a member of the AANP American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Laurel Highlands Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners along with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board, Inc.

Lastly, I would like to add that I truly enjoy my profession. Working as a nurse practitioner allows for the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. The diversity makes the job both challenging and rewarding, as I learn to always adapt care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
