“I am grateful to be partnering with you on taking this extraordinary success story that is Beacon College to a global market. Thank you for all that you are doing. It is one of the joys of this presidency to be working with you. Warm regards, George”

Dr. George Hagerty, Ph.D. (Harvard), President Beacon College, former President American Council of College, and University Presidents

“From my perspective, the reason for the successful partnership the University of Massachusetts has enjoyed, has been because of Patrick’s diligent efforts to understand and respect what this University is and does, how it is governed, and the impact it has on the Commonwealth, our nation, and the world, by virtue of its mission. I hear from the provost’s and others that he has their respect because of these efforts and because he listens to them rather than dictating to them what he expects them or their campuses to do. I personally have observed him with others of my colleagues as well—with Chancellors and with the Chief Operating Officer of the University. Of course, through my own interactions with him over the years, he has earned and reinforced my admiration and respect.”

Dr. Marcellette Gailliard-Gay Williams, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and International Relations; Past Chancellor and Professor of English and Comparative Literature – University of Massachusetts

“Patrick has done a wonderful job over the past six years in building our corporation in the USA and the university relationship and has worked diligently in ensuring the needs and requirements have been met. Where there have been differences or an issue, he has always worked towards trying to ensure a pragmatic solution acceptable to each of the parties is found. It is in one sense the end of an era.
