Network Administrator-programmatically determined port utilization in a record-free environment. Upon this completion, did a cable management project that eliminated days of annual downtime to zero downtime, and saved unnecessary equipment and installation costs. Reviewed network monitoring systems for “network knowledge opportunities”. Responded to trouble tickets to perform day-to-day maintenance of PC systems and LAN equipment. Performed network monitoring with WireShark and discovered an “ethical hacker” situation. Answered patron questions of technology if requested by the library staff.

2016-2021

Compucom, Wixom, MI.

Deskside Technician – maintained desktop, laptop, and LAN systems in a highly secured environment for a global automotive plastic components firm. Work assignments included: Windows 7 to Windows 10 migrations, the troubleshooting of desktop, laptop, peripheral and LAN equipment in a Microsoft and Cisco environment.
