Lotus Fine Foods (organic, gluten free, vegan, free of refine sugar cereal brand) began in my Toronto kitchen when I was a stay home mom caring for my young children. It quickly grew once we found a manufacturer and soon had national distribution across Canada in TJX Companies, Whole Foods, Loblaws, Metro, Sobey's, Longo's and many other grocers. We added three new products and began exporting into the Middle East. In 2005 we won product of the year in the Canadian breakfast cereal category. The company was sold several years later to one of our American suppliers and is currently in the white label food services space.
