For this Production I was first AC for the B-team with two - three camera operators per team

(depending on the scene) with me being the 3rd/4th camera operator shooting Broll and the wide shot for our daily scenes or relieving the main shooters during big events such as parties or cast hosted events where we needed more coverage. However my main assigned duties were your basic AC duties such as cleaning, maintaining and formatting all cameras our team used. We shot with a Sony FX9 as main cameras for the operators with a DJI RONIN 4D for our specialty shots i.e. slow mo walk ups for talent, Broll and car shots usually rigged with the tilta alien for the ronin 4D with a few GoPros set up inside the vehicle for cross coverage. Also making sure the monitor signals and transmitters were set and ready for producers to view through video village this season we used DJI Monitors which proved to have better range function than the usual Terradek set up. Also assisting with lighting in any way possible and lastly making sure DIT receives all footage at end of day.

For this production I was Second AC / Loader / DIT throughout this TV show run. My duties being coming in every morning building cameras along with the first AC then making sure the focus pulling monitor and video village were set and rest for the first scene. Along with making sure the gear truck was tidy and ready for anything that needed to be pulled at a moments notice. Also while traveling from location to location making sure the lens case and monitors all made it to the next scene in a timely manor. On top Of your other basic AC duties, slating before every take,updating the shot log in conjunction with the script supervisor, cleaning and maintaining all cameras and lenses. While also assisting the build and maintenance of the steady cam rig which is mainly where Bcam lived in order to execute the smooth movement shots. Lastly helping set up JIB and car rigs for other specialty shots when needed. The second portion of my daily work involved safely downloading all shot footage onto the master and backup drive as DIT while also creating proxy's through daVinci for producers to see daily what scenes and shots were finished for the day. On this shoot for OWN it was a competitive dating show hosted in Washington DC for season 4 and 5 in which I was a part of both seasons

For this set we shot all footage on Sony FS7's while all walk ups, OTFs and B-Roll were typically shot on Sony A7s or Sony A7R

My Duties for this set were typical as each day as an AC I was assigned to a camera team with two camera operators and one sound guy, my responsibility being coming in every morning Building both cameras for my operators and making sure all media is formatted along with the other settings being correct such as FPS, Black Balance etc And just making sure the Rig is set to the operators liking As the day goes on, I transport both cameras between dates/locations and all gear needed such as zoom controls, ND filters, Tripods, Gimbals for the smaller camera and occasionally Drones (DJI Mavericks ) depending on the B-roll for the day Also Having the A7s, A7R ready on gimbal whenever talent was walking up for dates so the operator can capture all walk ups

Along with other basic tasks such as keeping lenses and cameras clean, any interface/internal problems that came up with the cameras, fixing any loose parts on the rig and any other nagging pieces

Upon the end of each day, I drop off all media to DIT and break down each rig and all equipment in its designated area at the PO ending my night with sending AC Notes to DIT to properly identify footage.

For this production I had your basic DIT duties dumping cards twice a day once at lunch again at end of day. While keeping a log of what was dumped, how many gigabytes and what scenes covered for the day. While also securing the drives at end of day and making sure they were returned to correct producer upon end of day. While also marking any possible errors from camera department in the DIT log notes.

On this production I performed basic AC duties. Building cameras to the DP specifics, cleaning and formatting lens/ cameras as well. Slating before inner cut scenes were shot for intros and outros to the song. Also pulling focus for every take and lastly performing DIT roles upon end of day safely dumping footage and making sure everything is transferred to the editor. For this production we interview the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris for a short personality piece for People magazine. We did a simple two camera interview with A cam being a RED GEMINI and B cam a RED KOMODO X being on a slider for a smooth second motion shot. I was tasked with usual AC duties building, cleaning and formatting both cameras. Assisting the DP and Camera operator with any lighting needs on set and also keeping gear tidy and ready for use and movement to the next location. Camera Operator (Canon 80D and Sony Alpha A7)

During COVID-19 shut down, AARP studios created a commercial to promote safety and health tips along with safe activities and things to stay occupied with during the time I was hired to shoot various B-roll shots throughout the community of multiple activities and other needed shots from the shot list.

Love And Marriage DC (Season 1)

For this production I was First AC for the RED team, i was assigned two Camera Operators for my team. Starting everyday building, cleaning, and formatting the cameras (FX9) before the production meeting to the CO liking. Also prepping the Komodo / Ronin set up for specialty shots throughout the day i.e. slow motion walk ups and Broll. I was also tasked with maintaining the gear van with all of our G&E equipment that we used daily for lighting dates and scenes on the spot, as well as setting up the G&E equipment to the DPs specifics. Another responsibility of mine was making sure video village was up and ready for every scene so producers and the show runner could have image during the scene to call out coverage of shots we needed for the episode. We used your basic terradek 300 along with 4-5 monitors set up in a safe ducked off location. Of course also fixing any technical issues with cameras during the scene i.e. battery swap, lens swaps, signal interference with the terradek etc. While also maintaining and keeping safe shot XQD cards with footage and making sure they get to DIT upon end of day. On This shoot we visited a few couples during their 9-month pregnancy and the experiences and excitement they've had during and after the birth

We typically interviewed the couple over periods of time as the pregnancy went along, for the interviews we used a Canon C300 typically on sticks or a dolly depending on the shot My duties on this set were handling typical AC duties such as maintaining and loading in and out all camera and lighting gear

Also making sure all camera gear is on standby, clean and ready for the DP as he/she needs it Preparing the Dolly and Tripod for Cameras depending on the shot as previously stated, preparing and swapping lenses based on the DP needs as well As well as sitting in for shoots once we've collectively set lighting and angles that the DP is pleasant with.

On this shoot we were creating a commercial for the Howard University Hospital essentially a message directed towards congress for more funding for the hospital Through this shoot we interviewed major heads of the hospital and the school to explain the significance of the hospital and its impact

For the interviews we had a RED Gemini for camera one where the subject would answer questions while I was shooting on camera 2 as the second angle on a Sony A7S While also handling other AC duties such as maintaining and loading in and out all camera and lighting gear

On these Shoots with LemonLight a corporate production company we shot a lot of in-house videos for training, and social media/website videos pertaining to major events that recently have happened with local companies and major companies such as Walgreens and GridPoint For these in-house videos we would typically interview CEO of the company or any higher ups that can give us the best angle on the story and how the company is progressing along with a few of them

Colleagues and other higher ups, typically for the interviews we used a Sony A7III or a Black Magic 6k depending on the DP

On these shoots with Malka they are a corporate production company in which they typically shoot in house promotions or videos for their website/ social media accounts for big companies like Verizon, IBM, Amazon, and EY

Typically, with the in-house videos / and social media videos we interview company execs on major things happening with the company and some of their colleagues who can give insight Most times these are one camera shoots sometimes a two-camera shoot but every time working with this crew, we shoot with RED Komodo 4k camera with the second camera whenever used being a RED Komodo or Gemini as well

My roles as an AC on shoot days were typical, For the interviews we had the RED Komodo for camera one as previously discussed on sticks

Some other duties also include handling tasks such as maintaining and loading in and out all camera and lighting gear

Also making sure all camera gear is on standby, clean and ready for the DP as he/she needs it On these set's I also had to build the Komodo Rig every day before shooting i.e Mics, Formating Media, making sure the camera has corrected shooting specs (23.9 fps,Black balance etc.) Also, when needed setting up cameras on a Ronin Gimbals for smooth B-roll and tracking shoots, also sometimes hooking Camera one up to the easy rig for B-roll as well. For this PBS/ Viacom show we dive into areas of the US with Hidden Unknown history to the public and shine a light on a few important events that happen that most of the country is unfamiliar with

For the few episodes we shot in the ensuing months we explored places such as the dismal swamps in VA and the Churchill Tunnel in Richmond

My role on this set while also being an AC I was an Associate Producer as well mainly handling research and reaching out to potential people we can interview, coordinating dates and sending paperwork with talent as well

My roles as an AC on shoot days were typical as well, For the interviews we had a Canon C300 for camera one where we captured the host interviewing talent while I was shooting on camera 2 as the second angle on a Sony A7R

For this shoot I worked as a Camera Operator for a Live play shoot at the MD Imagination Kids Theater that was being recorded due to COVID restrictions For this shoot we shot with Panasonic CX350 cameras which shoot in 4k as well, simply recording takes of the play capturing wide and tight angles as the play went on Conferring with the director and lead camera op after every take to make sure we captured the best take.

For this Documentary we shot with Sony FX9 as the main camera with a Sony Fx3 on a Ronin R2 as the second camera. For this documentary we covered the story of the wrong unlawful arrest/death in Police custody of Freddie Gray. For this project we interviewed several subjects with a two camera set up in various locations across Baltimore. My task being breaking down and building cameras and accessories, making sure all camera are on desired and correct shooting settings, Setting up the terradek system for producers and directors to view the shot live, packing and transporting gear from various locations, also setting up and operating a DJI drone for specialty shots of the city. Along with basic DIT / Media management and G&E work to help the DP with lighting.

We shot with a Sony FX6 as main cameras with about 3-4 operators. Also making sure the Teradek signals and transmitters were set and ready for producers to view through video village, assisting with lighting in any way possible. Also on wrap day making sure all camera were broken down properly and all gear returned to the correct location. Lastly making sure DIT receives all footage at end of day. Breaking the Ice (Pilot)

On this Production we followed an award winning all African American Ice Skating team we followed a day in the life of the skaters including practice and try outs for new potential members. This was a small one canes shoot that we shot on a Sony FS7 with a Sony A7S as second camera. For this shoot I had Typical AC duties building and prepping the FS7 and all needed tools / accessories steady cam, ready rig, lenses, and a terradek set up for producers. This was a run and gun type of set up so everything was essentially mobile on a cart as we worked and shot through the day.

On this 2 camera interview we interviewed interesting and outstanding African American employees at Amazon for these Interviews/ Round Table discussion we set up A cam (RED Komodo) and B cam (RED V-Raptor) with an Astera and a few Godox for lighting as key and fill. Also for the round table portion of the shoot we brought in a third camera A7S III and a Lite Panel for the over head key. Furthermore in order for remote Producers to tune in and ask questions we set up a zoom feed through a decimator and a Monitor + MacBook Pro combo in order for them to tune in

Assistant Camera (AC) (C300 MK II ) 01/2022 to 01/2022 The Garden Creative

For this 2 part interview with a renowned Astronaut and an Ex professional football player we set up a three camera set up with (C300 mk II) with three Good lights to help light the set. Along with building A cam and B cam I was tasked with setting the third C300 up on an eMotimo Spectrum ST4 to create an automated slider shot on set axis through a controller to move on point during both interviews. Furthermore in order for remote Producers to tune in and ask questions we set up a zoom feed through a decimator and a Monitor + MacBook Pro combo in order for them to tune in.
