Objective:

Secure a full-time position where my previous experiences can be utilized. My ability to work with and lead improvement teams has become a requirement in today’s business environment. Also, I believe my experience running a company will be an asset. My experience in sales, customer designs for both embroidery and screen printing as well as equipment maintenance, networking and many other duties that are required with a small business.

Experience:

Jumper Cables Embroidery

July 1998 to January 2022

As a co-founder with my wife, we have grown the company from a start-up to quarter million dollar revenues. We have done this through a focus on process control; we are able to review every job we have ever done for pattern information, garments, sizes colors and completion status. We have utilized resources on Quality Control and future efficiency and profitability.

Intel Corporation

Oct 1989 to July 1998

Sr. Test Engineer: I was responsible for the test systems used in Intel's wafer sort factories including maintenance procedures, operations specifications, product correlations, system matching and lead an improvement team. I worked with LTX – Trillium and later Schlumberger Test systems. I collaborated as part of a multi-company strike force, consisting of members from development, sort and test sites along with Schlumberger (SLB) reps from their design, manufacturing and customer support, tasked to address logistical and financial implications of the shortages of the aforementioned test systems. The team had full Change Control from both the Intel and SLB sides for all changes made to the system, including all design changes done to any boards for both companies. My project was reduction of install time as part of a floor wide move of these systems to a newly designed test floor. I drove changes to the building layout of the new facilities that added electrical and mechanical needs to all tester locations as part of the construction phase. These changes reduced install and qualification time by up to 84%. I also drove a redesign of chilled water filtration system and implemented this to a floor wide system. This resulted in savings of a 3 million dollars. All changes required approval from Equipment Engineering Teams as well as white paper qualification and approval by my Process Control Change Board.

LTX – Trillium Division

Oct 1986 to October 1989

Quality Assurance Engineer: I was responsible for Quality Assurance regarding meeting customer acceptance process for each Test systems including verifying all hardware and software specifications, diagnostics and performance checks passed. Ensuring device test programs were run and resulted in adherence to prior established gold standard. Also I worked with the Applications Engineer and the customer to verify the proper functionality prior to completion of factory acceptance and shipment to the customer.

United Technologies Microelectronic Center

Aug 1983 to Oct 1986

Test Engineer: I used the design files of the device design layout to generate the test program for both wafer and package. Facilitated final debug procedures prior to full production release. UTMC used both the Gen Rad and Trillium Test Systems in the testing of their gate array devices. I developed wafer sort interface hardware to improve wafer to package correlation. I was responsible for the achievement of JAN qualification requirement.

Gen Rad Semiconductor Test Inc.

Feb 1981 to Aug 1983

System Engineer: Worked with the Design Engineers to verify the high speed control sections of the GR Test Systems. I was also responsible for the checkout and verification of the 2nd prototype system and to populate it to the maximum tester pin capacity. This required working with Applications Engineers as well as many other groups.

Fairchild Test Systems Division

May 1979 to Feb 1981

Assistant Engineer: Personally facilitated the Sentinel and Series 10 systems from a frame up to the final configuration the customer ordered. This required running diagnostic programs and when failures occurred to troubleshoot down to the component level, making any necessary repairs.

Intel Corporation Memory Systems

Jan 1977 to May 1979

Sr. Technician: I worked in the Component Engineering Department. Our group would design and build test fixtures to evaluate ECL, TTL and MOS integrated circuits used in the Memory Systems. We also had to review all devices that failed at the systems level and review incoming testing processes to assure that proper test coverage was being achieved.
