SAFETY MANAGEMENT

ZERO HARM TARGET

Methodology to ensure that hazard identification, risk evaluation and risk management conforms to the risk framework and requirements detailed in HSEQ system. SOP`s was developed in consultation with the workforce for all repetitive and generic activities, where there was a reasonable probability of an incident occurring without appropriate controls. Maintaining documentation to verify effective hazard and risk management processes, including risk registers, Standard Procedures, JSAs, VFL and other health and safety records. Maintaining Standard incident frequency rates (i.e. FAC, MTC, LTI, AFRS) with the target set at Zero Harm.

DOCUMENT CONTROL

Document an annual improvement action plan which aligns to the mining requirements, this plan will be developed and communicated in accordance with HSE requirements. Training, competency and awareness was done to ensure all personnel poses relevant and current qualifications, training and competencies for the work they are required to perform. In addition, prior to mobilising to site all personnel must comply with specified pre-mobilisation induction, training and competency requirements. To extend ownership of Health and Safety systems and processes to all personnel, employees was encouraged and was actively involved in the development, implementation and review of procedures, other operational documents and processes as required.
