ACTIVITIES

I was proud to be included in the team that started Burleson Works in Burleson, TX. This is a program to connect companies and citizens in Burleson to fill skills gaps in the labor market through partnership with local/regional schools.

I am the Sunday School Superintendent at my church, have been a Girl Scout leader.

I am proud to say I received Employee of the month while at National Health Insurance Company from 1986-2000. I also received Paraprofessional of the year while at Mansfield ISD from 2004-2013

ADDTITIONAL INFORMATION

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 and have been blessed to be able to continue working full-time with very few accommodations and very rarely missing work. I try very hard to schedule doctor appointments and testing around my work schedule and if not possible I always make up the time. I want to be honest and open and let you know this up front. I do have problems with being subject to metric production as I do have problems keeping up with standard requirements, I tend to be slower than average. I get the job done and if I work in Customer service, my skills are excellent. I have 10+ years experience in the insurance industry and customer service. I have 5 years in Human Resource(payroll, benefits, conflict resolution), and 10 years working in the education system with special needs children. I give 100% to whatever I am working on and feel each person represents the company and needs to give their all in order for the company to succeed. I hope you will at least give me the opportunity to meet with you prior to making a decision. Thank you.
