Duties: I am an Administrative Specialist II, serving as a Collections Clerk for the Department of Budget and Management/CCU. In the course of my duties I review and process incoming and outgoing emails in an attempt to collect debts owed to the State of Maryland. This encompasses multiple agencies and departments with the exception of MD Income Tax. In those attempts to collect, I have the ability to set up payment plans to give citizens options to submit these funds in a timely and expeditious manner. This has also included to a lesser degree answering phone calls with the same goal of collecting funds owned.

Duties: I serve as an Administrative Clerk performing multiple duties that range from electronic record keeping to generating reports using Microsoft tools. Duties: In the daily execution of my duties I handled multiple tasks. Primarily I performed several functions related to payroll and accounting. Utilizing the ADP system, I meticulously entered employee’s information to insure salary disbursement in a timely manner. In addition, I performed customer (employee) support related to pay should employees have any questions concerning their checks.
I processed related physical time and attendance documentation in the form of requests for leave, medical forms and other related minutia.
I provided employee and managerial support in a variety of manners. I assisted employees with insurance documentation and other required documents. For management I created a variety of reports and charts using Microsoft Applications. This managerial support included emails that are received and distributed to many parties on multiple levels
In the area of customer support, I answered phone calls related to waste water problems and created work orders using the CSR (Customer Service Request) system in response to those calls. I also logged customer complaints and inquires routed them to the appropriate parties for further handling
