Its honor for PBAD since a long time to has responsibility for the extension and renovation of HARM ( Makkah & Madinah) projects.
Project & Responsibilities
Spent 8 Years at new king Abdul Aziz international airport (KAIA) project Jeddah being in QC engineer responsibilities.
Over all responsible for coordinating with the client, consultant, contactor and central RFI and Laboratory regarding testing activities. Evaluation and special specifications of project/international standards.
Coordinate promptly with construction regarding the QC inspection in line with the RFI and plan daily inspection priority basis and testing schedule laboratories and consultant regarding any testing on site Avoid Delays in work and take necessary action to solve the problem.
Manager and execute all work on regular basis as per project requirements.
Review project specifications, drawings, method statement, QC procedures
and inspection test plans. Maintain daily reports and log of daily Responsibilities.
Review the procedures like: excavation and backfill concrete, construction, grouting, in masonry, painting, installation, eviction, construction .
Ensure monitoring surveillance activities are being conducted on ongoing basis.
Attend witness and hold points identified in the concrete quality, checking slumps, temperature, delivery times, kind of in (SRC & Portland) and if concrete are poured within the allotted time.
Pre-structure in specifications prior to concreting, cheek steel bar arrangements, size as pre drawings, from work in quality and strength, dimensional checking, check and review survey, cleanliness, cheek anchor bolts base plates or other shown on drawings.
Post concrete inspection- check form work removal, curing, checks for honey comb or cracks.
Surveillance of backfilling if required depth is being followed. Assure correction soil material Type A or B and no decomposing materials are mixed. Ensure the materials used are approved by consultant/client and satisfy the requirements and specifications.
To ensure the right implementation of Quality Standard s and Procedures.
Execute s over all control over the entreated deliverable s with respect to quality.
Supports in the implementation of the Corrective Action Reports
(CAR’s), as well as the Non-Cofinance Report (NCR’s) process and ensures client inspector appr oval on the activities.
Ensures the projects quality inspection and test plan s are delivered to the team. That everyone com prehend s and implemented the ITP’s.
Checks quality of works and report in g NCR’s to the Quality Manager.
Ensures that all document control procedures are implemented and followed by all site personnel.
Record all inspections and tests on the appropriate for in or checklist, as in dilated on the relevant ITP and sign off the same.
Upon completion of satisfactory inspection, submit Inspection Request generate d by Site/ Field Engineer to Client staff and record in ate with t hem for completing such inspections.
Ensure that any out stan ding works or remedial work require d is brought to the attention of the responsible Site/ Field Engineer, Supervisor or Foreman.
