My experience is cemented across all levels of from project inception, construction and commissioning, plant operations, preservation and maintenance, training (plant and safety) and negotiating contracts and working with external contractors and suppliers.

I have a proficient knowledge of all power plant systems particularly in respect of very large coal fired power plant. I held the role of shift manager for ESKOM, South Africa responsible of plant operations, maintenance and plant preservation during long overhauls and shut downs.

I have successfully managed to save loss of revenue for the companies I worked for by being innovative in keeping plant running including saving costs on managing the plant operations through good optimisation and efficiency programmes.

I have trained numerous personnel on all levels of process control and health and safety onsite thereby reducing costs for external service providers.

By following effective plant maintenance programmes, I contributed to maintaining plant in good running condition.
