• Liaise with union representatives to promote a co-operative and effective labour relations climate

• Collect and manage staff incident reports, review reports for root cause findings and recommendations. Analyse incident trends and escalate concerns as needed.

• Ensure timely reporting to the WSIB and provide ongoing claim management.

• Manage staff leave of absences and gather necessary information to help facilitate a safe return to work by creating back to work accommodation plans liaising with the employee and third-party consultants

• Conduct monthly safety inspection of required work locations in partnership with the worker H&S rep.
