It is cool to be asked about my background and I am privileged to do so. I grew up in Litchfield, a town of @ 6,000 at the time. My sport was swimming and I was the Captain of the Team. When not swimming I worked from Junior High and beyond in the business community including a large appliance retailer and a hardware store.

Graduating from High School, I was off to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, majoring in Philosophy and English (with a minor in Religion).

After graduating from college I continued to work in the business community. My first position that I served was entitled “Executive Management Trainee” (one of only three Executive Trainees in the division's history), a subsidiary of McGraw Edison. When I left McGraw Edison to work in Minnesota, I succeeded in radio air sales at KVOX radio. While in Moorhead I served as the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at The First National Bank of Moorhead.

In 1977 I entered into the Seminary and received my Masters of Divinity Degree. My ministry was at several large congregations as I served in the role of Senior Pastor.

While in the ministry I served for over 20 years as the District Editor for a monthly publication. During this time I also built 2 homes as the General Contractor and I did much of the work myself.

I now am retired and living in Newport, Tennessee. I have five wonderful children who are deep in their convictions, in their joyful love, and successful in their challenging endeavors. They love to getting together.. My hobbies include camping, wood working, professional writing, and gardening.
