Profile

I have been in the Metrology realm for twenty years+. I am looking to lead in either supervision or team lead environment. I have always and will continue to enjoy the unlimited depths of learning and knowledge that is the science of Metrology. Always problems to solve, and solutions to implement, but most importantly; customers to satisfy. I continuously seek to exercise and offer my expertise. Additionally, learn and understand better practices within any culture of Quality. As a United States Military Veteran, exercise of patience & discipline in my everyday responsibilities incorporates success. Currently I am studying AS9100 through SAE to better my Metrology skillset.

06/2023-02/2024 Tesla GFTX Austin- AM Metrology Cybertruck

As an Associate manager- responsible for managing and inspiring development of the Metrology labs leadership and technicians

Develop training programs and hiring plans for Quality Inspectors -Support of control plans to assure critical features are controlled through the Quality process

Manage Supervisors, Leads and Quality Inspectors and develop the team structures used in the Tesla Factory

As Supervisor of Quality & Central Measuring Lab, my responsibilities included training, time editing, monitoring, and assigning of overhead within multiple labs across three shifts and weekends. Heat-treat /Stamping and Metrology labs. Additionally, support and resolve problems within production and lab where measuring devices and customer requirements (PPAPs and analysis) is required. Maintaining of Lab according to it IS17025, and equipment according to ISO17029 and MSA 4th. Writing of local work instructions or operator instructions according to measurement best practices. Problem solving through A3 projects or Six Sigma. Use of Systems; SAP, QDAS for measurement and device data, and QSTAT for machine capabilities. Cross trained or pass down knowledge and experience to lab personnel.
