Working in the repair and fabrication field all over the Western US has come to understand all metals and the knowledge of the best way to repair and/or fabricate new parts. I have worked on drag lines, all sizes of ball mills, gear repairs. The gear repairs I have done can be used as an economical spare for companies inventory if needed until a new one can be made. I have experience in the ironstitch method and I know how to repair high pressure steam valves, gate valves, pumps, engine blocks on trucks (pickup and diesel). I also have experience in heavy equipment block repairs, drop boxes, transmission cases, etc. My work with ironstitch shows little or no distortion and stress free. This is a cold weld process. I am able to grind by hand to specifications. This is a skill that I am glad to say I can do well.
