Description :

• RBCS is the heart of Citibank’s Corporate Credit checking system, various major corporate customers have credit lines (Daily Overdraft Facilities) held on RBCS based on their credit rating with Citibank.

• Account Server is a central database for all customer data pertaining to various different branches around the world. It holds the most up-to-date balances and account status information for accounts and due to this is linked with many other partner systems that require such information for crucial customer related decisions.

• LMS is a web based GUI for Credit Risk Managers who do not have access to RBCS and Account Server, but require information pertaining to Ledger and Value Dated Balance, Statements of intraday liquidity postings, cash movement history, checking of credit lines maintained for customers on RBCS and available balances held on RBCS for transaction approvals.

• There was additional Partner system introduced named as “Trade Finance (iLOC) ” in collaboration with RBCS. RBCS was involved to take entire dump from CLUE system,

calculate the tenure for the transactions and verify issue of LOC, amount sanctioned to the customer based on the risk. At end of day, consolidate reports based on tenure of a particular txn, the tenure available, the amount left to be used for that tenure and if it is extended further.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1.Manual Tester, Team representative on conference calls. As a result of satisfaction with my methods of handling Testing and confidence in my abilities to manage Testing, in addition to testing, additional responsibility of Test Management for RBCS. This involves :

Understanding BRD and formulating high level Test plans based on requirements.

This module can be used for various payment methods like DFT, CBFT, EFT etc. Responsible for Functional, usability and regression testing and Implementation of back end warehouse for Citidirect (Citibank’s web-based software that enables electronic exchange of financial transactions) across all western European branches.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Understanding BRD and formulating high level Test plans based on requirements.

2. Preparation of Test cases and transaction requirement sheets based on UAT plans.

3. Work closely with BA in Dublin and partner system Team, Developers and Support teams ensuring the execution and defect resolution flows smoothly.

4. Validating MT942 and MT 940 against intraday and End of day report on CitiDirect.

5. End to End testing by initiating transactions and following status of those transactions on back-ends like BSI, RCS/RCX, FLEXCUBE, CitiFT and GIW.

Defects Analysis & Management :

One of the most important aspects in testing includes:

Raising the defects in the issue log, the Defect tracking system (JIRA/Redmine/TeamTrack/QC)

Investigating and discussing the issues with the development team, the technical support team and onsite SMEs on daily basis.

Reviewing and re-testing the defects logged and analyzing any major impact on project release date. This includes re-testing certain passed scenarios as well, to ensure no impact to the successful code.

Reviewing & analyzing issues raised by other Team members.
