Led a team of 12 systems architects, interior specialists, and industrial designers to navigate a comprehensive list of product needs, including design innovation, product development cycles and digital strategy. Primary responsibilities included developing the cabin industrial design specification and trim and finish catalog as well as the overall cabin systems architecture (for cabin audio, cabin lighting, CMS, wireless IFE & Connectivity, and galley and lavatory systems). Collaborated closely with Marketing, Product Strategy, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing teams, as well as with various suppliers to ensure harmonization of critical activities. The hardening included: replacement of all existing wiring and associated hardware in the aircraft with hardened wiring; implementation of improved shielding techniques; replacement of EMI-susceptible switches, sensors, etc.; addition of bonding and single-point grounding; and rewiring of the audio systems to meet TEMPEST requirements.
