As the Manager of Project Coordinators, I am responsible for overall direction and management of my team. I provide leadership, organization, prioritization, and serve as the first point of contact for resource support and consultation. In collaboration with the Director of Operations, my role develops and directs the Project Coordinators operations and strategic planning to meet not only the customers’ scheduling needs, but also, the organizational goals. I provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards processes and tools used for objective project delivery. Being the Manager of Project Coordinators, I establish methodologies to set productivity and quality targets to assess results for all projects. If there are escalated issues, I work with the Project Coordinator to determine the who what where’s and respond to the customer immediately with resolutions. Not only do I work closely with my team of 8, I am indirectly responsible for a subgroup team, that is supervised by another employee that directly reports to me. I ensure that KPIs are in place and met. My team is the liaison between the customer and our organization. We manage our projects from onboarding until the last load is shipped. We submit invoicing based on the customer’s request, either production, shipping, weekly or project completion. In this role, I report to the Director of Operations and work closely every day with our Production, Quality, Warehouse and Accounting Management Team.

In my role as Buyer within our strategic plan for Supply Chain Management, I maintained excellent organizational skills, ability to balance short term priorities and exceptional information analysis skills. Plan and execute procurement of raw materials from global suppliers. In this position I ensure customer specifications, requirements and expectations are met, by prioritizing workload and ensuring all customer requests are completed correctly and within the requested time frame. This occurs as a result of, but not limited to, data entry of the account’s bill of materials (BOM), and Purchase Order into the company’s database. As a result, a work order is created that includes approved renderings, BOM, work order header sheet, shipping manifests, CAD drawings, pallet layouts and any other pertinent information allowing a smooth transition from the customer planning group to the production warehouse.

Ongoing communication with the customer and production regarding material delivery, identifying delays and/or shortages in the supply chain, generate efficient and timely production plans. By providing material planning support for production, via generating material shortages report for each work order, it ensures all customer orders are produced, shipped, and billed correctly and completely.

Develop and maintain customer loyalty by answering all customer questions, proactively seek solutions and address any customer complaints with a goal of total customer satisfaction. Work directly with Account Specific Manager during new product launches throughout the design stage. In addition, work very closely with receiving, inventory control, quality assurance, production, and shipping.

Reports- launch distribution reports are generated weekly, including month end responsibilities. Weekly customer supplied schedules updated and managed based on client needs, issued to all departmental managers, and support staff with daily production and material management updates. Meetings: Attend daily production meetings and weekly customer(s) conference calls. Assist team members as needed.
