Responsibilities:

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Engineer on a combined cycle power plant where I am responsible for safe operation of Boilers, Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine of 560 MW and Gas engines a DCS based complete HRSG System.

My responsibilities include continuous, reliable and safe operations. Resolving issues related to operation and actively handling and managing trouble shooting with the team, authorized designated Person and Carrying out isolations for maintenances.

•To assist the manager (operation) in operation the plant at optimum load.

•Responsibility of safe Operation of Steam Turbines, HRSG Boilers, Water treatment Plant, Gas, engines as per SOPs.

•To maintain all operation data, maximum minimum load and all other necessary information regarding plant and system.

•Prepare the Reliability Incident report (RIR), generate the notification and work permit at SAP.

•To maintain and record Outage and RIR report.

•Prepare the monthly tripping report.

•Coordination with LDC/ control and other generation stations as per instruction from Manager Operation.

Ten years' experience of Operation and Maintenance of WAUKESHA ENGINES.

Operation and maintenance of GE Jenbacher Model #JGS 320 GSNL Total Plant Capacity: 8.26 MW power plant Gas driven electrical generators and power distribution control through Monitoring of Controls Panels, auxiliaries and switchgear metering of the total site with standard site operation (SSO).

Responsibilities:

•Overall supervision of the plant operation during the shift.

•Supervise start-up, synchronizing, loading rates, shutdown of the Unit, & handing over for maintenance requirements with the help of Manager Shift.

•Handing over and taking over between outgoing & incoming shifts are to be precise at the level of Manager Shift / Staff.

•To assist Manager Shift to take charge of any major fault or emergency situation arising during the shift.

•In case of tripping and other major faults investigate the cause and prepare report to be entered into logbook.

•In case of partial or total breakdown of supply, to restore the station supply in minimum possible time with the guidance of Manager Shift.

•To check the firefighting equipment and report abnormality, if any, to Manager Shift.

•To check firefighting equipment and log complaints, if any.

•Fill accident form in case of injury to staff member, as per factory, act.

•To prepare daily generation statistics (input data) of Power Station.

•To have all the positions in the Power Station properly manned.

•Maintaining discipline by ensuring punctuality of the worker and observance of Rules.

•Ensuring that any data report information regarding the operation required by the Management Studies Department is provided as soon as may be, and in the form required by the department.
