PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Preparation of WPS for Pressure vessels, Pipping, Structures as per ASME Sec. IX., AWS D1.1

Qualification of welders as per AME Sec. IX, AWS D1.1, API 1104 and EN 287.

Preparation of WELD BOOK (Weld matrix, Weld Map and WPS) & NDE procedure.

ITP Preparation based on the project and Equipment requirement.

Witness inspection of Visual & dimensions of raw material (Plates, Pipes & Flanges, Valves etc.), Materials identification, Fit up & Full Welding, Final visual and Dimension of welded member.

Inspections include Material inspection, review of MTC, in process Quality checks, Monitoring of in between stages, Final Dimensional inspections.

Pressure testing, blasting and Painting Inspection, review of Data Book, Packing inspection etc.

Coordination with Third Party Inspectors and Client for Quality Control and Inspection processes at various stages of fabrication and construction.

Provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality problems.

Coordinating with Third party for the release of all hold/witness points as per the Inspection &Test Plan (ITP)

Generating and issue reports like daily/weekly/monthly as part of project requirements.

Monitor all aspects of Quality Control relative to welding during the construction to ensure adherence to the company’s’ technical requirements and applicable codes.

Arranging and Witnessing Lab Tests for WPS, WQT and PQT.

Coordination with NDT crews for performing the NDT activities.

Coordinating with Third party for the release of all hold/witness points as per the Inspection &Test Plan (ITP).

Radio graphic offering and film interpretation (RTFI).

Inspection of Electrode Test Certificates.

Inspection of pressure and non-pressure parts for Boiler and Turbine.

Monitoring the Baking of welding consumables and preheating, inter pass and PWHT of welds.

Inspection and Monitoring of Joint Preparation and Welding Process.

Welder Continuity Record & Progress Reports Preparation.

Maintain the calibration record &Ensuring Calibration of All Inspection, Measuring and Testing Equipment’s.
