Nothing Bundt Cakes, Waxahachie TX

Guest Service Representative September 2020 - July 2021

• A family franchise that strived for perfection in production, and in the customer service that we as a business provided. There are currently over 500 bakeries in 40+ states and Canada. It’s deemed the largest cake company.

• I handled all cash register transactions and delivered excellent customer service. I mostly worked in the front and showcases my people skills, but during my time there I had been promoted to a cake decorator. Where I decorated cakes in desired theme, and then wrapped the cake for customer.

• I restocked the cake display and made sure it was full of selections for customers. This was a constant essential task – seeing as we had cakes selling at rapid speeds.

• I always maintained a clean and sanitary environment in the dining area. I made sure the store was always spotless. The establishment was big on keeping our ratings at a 5 star, and my work ethic and means to take initiative helped us remain in high ratings while I worked in establishment.

• I had been promoted twice while working for NBC. I was complimented on my competitiveness to make sales when we sold featured temporary flavors, or if new merch had come in. I left the job only because I was moving for school, I loved my time there. Denton, Texas

Walgreens Distribution Center, Waxahachie TX

Warehouse Associate May 2022 - August 2022

• A physically demanding warehouse. I worked 12 hour shifts six days out of the week with one off day. I would go into work from 8:00PM-5:00AM, and on most days it was required overtime added to shift.

• My job consisted of a large amount of the heavy lifting of crates, new merchandise, or disposals. I also transported goods, so I would pack these large crates with the listed items in a trimly and fashionable order and then I’d pass it to the next person or once the package was completed, I would add it to the convertor belt.

• I floated through the establishment and picked items in various departments where I was needed.

• This was a summer job while I was back in Waxahachie for 3months. I worked this job my entire summer; dedicated to the job and not too much was worried about my summer. I had goals that I wanted to achieve, and this job got me there although it was very demanding. I was let go because I got COVID and by the time I recovered it was time for me to return to school.

College of HPS, Denton UNT

Dean’s Office Student Assistant February 2022 –current

• This is a student assistant job for the College of Health and Public service – specifically for the University of North Texas. I been at this job since my second semester here at UNT, and I love it here. I have received one raise and taken on more responsibilities.

• I send out Dean’s list emails to students that are looking to attend UNT, and these emails just list the departments contact information for questions they may have and provide an introduction of who the Dean in and what she represents.

• I assist students and concern parents over the phone/ via email. Our line is always ringing. The HPS number is listed on many of UNT’s websites so a lot of the time the issue may not be up my ally, but I still do my best in helping get people to where they need to be.

• I am the first person that everyone see’s when they come in, so I typically sign appointments in and make sure they make it to the desired colleague.

• Provide directions around campus.

• I also work closely on events that the department host. I am typically working behind the scenes with decorations, making spreadsheets, sending out emails to guest, and making sure letters are sent out to needed locations.

• Currently in 2024 I am working on a project of reconstruction the entire Health and Public Service website, so it is more appealing and user friendly for students because we have discovered that many students are looking at information via their cell phones, so we would like to make the website more phone friendly and not so wordy.
