Additional Information

Due to my mother's physical decline, it was necessary for me to have a flexible work schedule to assist with her care as needed. This also dictated a move from Colorado to Florida. Getting a real estate license was a matter of convenience that allowed me to help with my son's investment company, pro bono, and to keep my skills in use. This is why there is a gap in my current work history. My time with Xtreme/Akita, provided a diverse work experience in various office roles leading to my involvement with customization, implementation and management of data base software for preventive maintenance, driving to remote rig field sites to train rig managers or conduct physical inventories and to inventory storage yards, as well as being point of contact for multiple software platforms for training and use of the systems. When Akita bought Xtreme, I was retained, but they eventually abandoned Xtreme's maintenance program and my position was eliminated. I'm comfortable whether in an office setting or working outdoors. Additionally, I have acted as general contractor for building of our home in Colorado, working on it's design, scheduling trades, working with the building dept., and doing manual labor where needed. I also provided administrative support to my husband's construction business. Recently I was involved in a couple of home renovations, again, requiring knowledge of the industry, and getting physically involved with the work needed.

While in Colorado, I also worked in outside sales for a land title company to develop business relationships and performed month-end title closings where positive customer service, interaction and support was critical for success of our clients.

Finally, I do have some college; an associate business degree that was not completed.
