I was responsible for reviewing all problem samples and determining the corrective action for each sample. This process included inbound/outbound calls for conflict resolution with client. Contact Field representatives to acquire the necessary information to resolve the problem sample. Submit affidavits for problem samples and enter into MIQC and any other electronic messaging to ensure the representative and/or clinic is aware of the problem samples. Enter all problem samples that are to be cancelled into LIMS as well as MIQC. Store problem samples daily and ensure that the samples are held a minimum of 5 business days to obtain resolution. Report any unresolved problem to supervisor.

I was responsible for electronic entry of hl7, receipt and inspection of specimen. Assist the supervisor of laboratory operations with technical services. Assist the supervisor of laboratory operations in training and mentoring of new employees. Scanning of requisition and manifests and other shared duties. I have training in troubleshooting and working as a team leader also worked as customer service rep as all these positions I held at Laboratory Corporation of America. In addition I assigned specific computer generated identification numbers, checks for accuracy, and records all items processed. Duties were to coordinate workflow, train new employees to ensure samples are aliquoted properly. Collect aliquoted samples, with the appropriate calibrators and controls, organize, and monitor additional sample prep for the laboratory to meet departmental turnaround times. Review all problem samples and determining the corrective action for each sample. I coordinated inbound/outbound calls with the client or technical representative for conflict resolution. Additional duties included troubleshooting, assisting employees with resolving day to day issues, inventory daily solutions to ensure valid expiration dates, performed administrative duties assigned by the Supervisor which included pre-interview tours with potential new hires to give them an overview of LabCorp’s laboratory processes and SOPs.
