Responsible for repairs to injection molding machines and all their accessories as well as upgrades.

I am the only technician. There are 16 presses, several temperature controllers, pickers, robots, grinders, part separators, chillers, loaders, conveyors. Run and terminate cat 5 for IQMS which would record and display part count, good parts, bad parts, machine up or down. Trouble shoot, order necessary repair parts and obviously install keep a spare part inventory. I am also introducing a P.M. schedule. I am knowledgeable with lock out tag out, haz. waste, Arc flash, 5S, Lean to include identifying and research new equipment.

Responsible for managing, supervising and training of maintenance staff. Responsible for the installation of new machines and maintenance of existing machines.

Installation of new machinery includes electrical and plumbing installation, conduit runs, breaker installation and wiring and welding MIG, TIG and stick. Preventive maintenance responsibilities include trouble shooting machinery, replacement part procurement in addition to performing large and small repairs.
