What I Learned

During my time there I assisted in the training and development of new hires. As a Foreman I assigned work, assisted in problem solving. Was responsible for inventory, ordering parts and maintaining good relationships with vendors. Maintained maintenance records on all equipment. Insured consistent flow of work and equipment to meet the rental requirements. I was responsible to handle all customer requests or issues, that would occur during a rental. This involved breakdowns to basic questions on operations of the machines. Did instructional classes for customers in operation and safety of all equipment.

I developed a very good understanding of customer relations. I also assisted the counter and sales staff with questions on use or proper equipment for each specific job.

Education

Completed High School, participated in mechanical vocational courses.

I have, in some capacity, during my life I have been involved in some kind of mechanical business/trade.

While employed at Sunbelt Rentals I attended numerous vendor classes, lectures, and hands on. Completed and participated in multiple Safety/Training programs. Completed certifications for all machines. AWP, Scissor lift, and forklift.

Completed OSHA 10 certification.
