Production Supervisor – Becton Dickinson & Co., Sumter, South Carolina Lead fast paced production lines that use pneumatics, robotics, and hydraulics to make our products, where safety and quality are the number 1 priority. We use spreadsheets and digital monitoring to track waste and production on all lines, and as the supervisors make the decisions for each line for strategizing, when to perform certain repairs and what to do when the lines are not producing as they should. All while ensuring that 5s methodology is being followed throughout the entire shift.

Manufacturing Supervisor – Schneider Electric, Columbia, South Carolina Drove processing improvements throughout the group utilizing lean concepts and kaizen methodology. Analyzed, suggested, and implemented activities to eliminate waste, redundant operations and improve material and product flow. Ensured production was maintained in accordance with time schedules, engineering specifications, quality standards, expense budgets, employee safety and cost goals. Used SIM boards and Kaizen events to identify and eliminate barriers. Communicated with Engineers and Mechanical Designers for solutions to issues on the shop floor. Reviewed designs in Inventor model, making sure models match the bill of materials, and one lines. Using systems like Order Editor, ODM, AMAPS, Eng Drawing viewer, and Auto Desk/DRM to help correct any issues on the shop floor.
