Self-employed – King County, WA -- Pressure Washer 2/2019 – 7/2023

After being laid off from the Shipyard I collected unemployment as I awaited a call back to work. I was told that I could expect to be called back in 3–6 months. Since the call back did not happen, I started working side jobs pressure washing which was a good fit for me as I already owned the equipment. This way I could be readily available when I received the call back to work. Now, clients are hard to come by and I have given up on returning to the shipyard as they have changed their business strategy to Naval repairs, which does not have a position for me as I worked for new construction.

Vigor Shipyard - Seattle, WA -- Material Control Coordinator 5/2012 – 9/2018

Oversee, plan and facilitate all warehouse operations and materials for new construction projects including the new WA. St. Ferry builds. This includes receiving, inspection, locating to inventory, release and deliver to production when needed. Assure quantities and materials received match purchase orders. Work with buyers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies. Also did some pickups and deliveries for transportation (Laid off - lack of work)

Managed all remodel projects for the state of Washington from post finance to completion. This included maintaining employee and contractor availability for the scheduling of projects.
