Co-Owner, Office Manager, Bookkeeper

I was responsible for contacting new clients, getting, and verifying their information, and scheduling appointments. I was also responsible for contacting clients that are on our schedule and confirming their appointments and for sending out paperwork (by email) for them to fill out. I was responsible for posting ads on Facebook via Meta Business Suite and posting pictures of our work on Google. I was responsible for tallying hours for our team and writing paychecks. I was responsible for reconciling our bank registry in QuickBooks and downloading it into Profit Keeper. I was responsible for tallying up taxes and other bills and making sure they get paid. I was responsible for setting up accounts with various vendors.

Newspaper Delivery and sales

I was responsible for learning my route of approximately 90 miles with over 200 customers. I was responsible for holding onto papers for customers on vacation and delivering them upon their return. I was required to assemble the different sections of the newspaper on Sundays. I had to keep track of and order bags, when necessary, as well as delivering and setting up paper tubes upon request. It was also my responsibility to arrange for a sub for myself when needed.

I was responsible for learning my route of approximately 95 miles with about 170 customers and 8 stores. I assembled papers six days of the week. I saved papers for customers on vacation and delivered them when they came back. I ordered bags when needed and was responsible for setting up paper tubes for customers upon request. I collected papers that weren’t sold at stores and was responsible for separating, counting, bundling, filling out return paperwork and returning unsold papers. It was also my responsibility to arrange for a sub for myself when needed.

I was responsible for washing and putting away dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and serving trays. I cleaned the dining area and kitchen daily. I delivered meals to classrooms and picked up the dishes and leftovers afterwards. I prepared breakfast carts for delivery for the next day. I was required to clean all items as per the FDA regulations.

I was responsible for interacting with customers including taking their order and delivering the food to them. I worked at the cash register and was responsible for counting out my drawer at the end of my shift. I maintained a clean dining room which included taking out the trash, wiping down tables and chairs, and sweeping and mopping the floor. I washed kitchen and serving utensils, metal and plastic containers in a multi part sink. I prepared and time stamped food to be used in the food prep area.
