Employment Experience:

I retired in February 2015 to present day. I moved my residence from Oregon to Emmett, Idaho to be close to family in 20016. During this time I have traveled, hunted and fished here in Idaho.

September 2010- February 2015: Social Services Manager St. Vincent de Paul, La Pine, Oregon; I Managed the La Pine, Oregon food bank and social welfare department directing one full time employee and up to ten part time personal that provided food, clothing, electrical payments, water payments, assisted clients who needed to obtain birth certificates and state issued identification cards needed to place children into public schools, to get medical services from licensed health care providers, jobs and other activities that require an identification card. Provide the board of directors, and the Oregon Food Bank with monthly, quarterly and annual reports. March 2010 through May 2010 worked as the interim contract Assessor for Haines Borough, Alaska.

September, 2006 – October, 2009: Haines Borough Lands Manager/Assessor: The position administers the Lands Department, which is responsible for the management of municipal lands; land development, community planning and zoning; assessment of real, business and personal property; and the management of legal survey records, maps and GlS within the boundaries of the Haines Borough. May, 1991 – September, 2006: Deschutes County Appraiser II Assessors Office: The position locates and determines boundaries, inspects land, buildings and other improvements to obtain data for the appraisal. Assembles and analyzes data to appraise each property to determine its’ market value. Update records, maps and date files, responds to citizen complaints regarding assessments. Performed other duties as directed by the management team as needed, to accomplish the objectives of this position and Deschutes County.

Created fiscal budgets, managed assessment staff as needed for the assessment of all real and personal taxable property within Jerome County. Followed the Idaho State Statutes and the Idaho State Tax Commission rules and guidelines for the assessment of all the taxable property in Jerome County. Created the fiscal budgets and Managed the assessors department of motor vehicle, as required, for the licensing of motor vehicles in the county of Jerome, Idaho.
