About the project: VCM-UCM project is a migration project where content will be migrated from VCM to UCM. At present there are six applications which are receiving content from VCM. Along with this migration, portal migration is also happening in parallel. This Project has going on in 3 waves. Each wave contains 40 to 50 Content Data Types and respective content items which need to be analyzed, designed and built freshly in UCM Tool. And need to validate the Sites, Channels, Permissions and workflows structure in the UCM Tool, which should be same as in VCM currently.

Currently six projects in Ameriprise are using VCM Tool and those applications are My Financial Accounts, Service Online, Auto Online, Home Online, Advisor Compass and River source applications. However VCM is going to discontinue support for this in another couple of months. With this into consideration, there is an obvious need to migrate all the six projects which are dependent on VCM.

Preferred Partner program is the process of partnering the tax professionals and franchises with financial advisors. Every Tax professional in H&R Block can be partnered with a financial advisor. Every Tax Professional in H&R Block can be partnered with Financial Advisor through Non-Licensed and Licensed partnering systems. And this program is already in use by the Financial Advisors of H&R Block, and the scope is to roll out for the Financial Advisors from Ameriprise by end of 2009 i.e. before 2009 tax season begins. Till now this program is using by only H&R Block financial advisors and the plan is to rollout this with all Ameriprise advisors by end of 2009.

About the Project: As a part of Ameriprise acquisition of the HRBFA, HRB advisors and Tax Leads routing process are to be incorporated in to the Ameriprise Financial field. The AASI LMS Tax Leads project introduces enhancements to the existing LMS system to process the clients (Tax Leads) that LMS gets from HRB. LMS receives the Tax Leads feed from HRB, processes the file and sends the Tax leads to Axiom for LVS process along with the other vendor responders. LMS lead assignment business rules will be modified to incorporate AASI filters like Global filters, priority for AASI advisors, restricted assignment based on the advisor accepted new lead count.

Tax leads assignments details will be sent to CM along with the other lead information. Tax Leads will also be included in other feeds that LMS send to AAC, AIM.
