Medical Coordinator-Process court ordered mandated requests for a Inmate to be seen by the staff Medical Doctor for various health related issues and refile the Doctors results with the courts within a 24 hour period.

Maintain the Medical offices with the necessary supplies to perform various procedures.

Order weekly medical supplies and maintain par levels according to the Inmate census.

Obtain and post all lab tests results and schedule future tests as ordered by the M.D.

Assist ALL jails within the Riverside county with records or supplies as requested.

Travel to the county Hospital for emergency supplies as requested.

Draw blood and do EKG’s upon request.

Duties-Maintain 12 Medical offices with supplies and daily O2 tank checks and Welch Allyn stand checks.

Order ALL supplies and distribute to each office according to par levels for that particular Jail population.

March 2020 at ALL Riverside county jails, continuous implementation upon arrest and daily tests according to complaint of debilatating health symptoms.

Graph and implement Covid test and Covid Vaccines as requested.

Per 1200 inmates, quarterly. Transfer the positive inmates out to the county correction Covid isolation ward, located at the Banning Smith Facility.

RE: Juvenile arrestee’s- after covid testing the child,if positive transfer that child to the Indio juvenile facility, which is the counties Juvenile Covid holding ward.

For non-vaccinated employee’s- I test (swab) them weekly for now.

Until there is a change in the guidelines for employment, this is the procedure in place for now.
