-Surgical management of foot and ankle pathology, inpatient and Emergency care management
-Work directly with Assistant Chief of Staff to educate patients and stream line clinic operations. During the course of employment, participation in special projects pertinent to the specialty of podiatry may be requested as necessary to complement the mission of the medical center or service line.
-Monitor Clinical Utilization-Marion Podiatry Clinic-with an average monthly number of 190 patients seen(new encounters, consults, procedures and wound care)
-Attend monthly meetings for medical staff, Surgical staff with M&M and Podiatry
-participate in Prevention of Amputation in Veterans Everywhere (PAVE committee)
-Assisted Fort Wayne with selection of positions (resume review), as well as extensive Peer review
-Supervise Clinical Staff at Marion: coordinate resource utilization and restructure Podiatry clinic in order to maximize clinic efficiency and improve Veteran’s access to care.
-lecture at Marion Town Halls: addressing all medical staff and keeping them up to date on Podiatry policy and Procedure
-personalized meetings with individual departments to clarify procedure and help with individual attention
-Collaborate with other specialties (eg Radiology) to make recommendations for better and more accurate on line access for PACT clinicians(concise template) which enhances patient care
