2021-Jul-Oct Senior Paralegal Civil Litigation – The Cromeens Law Firm (Part Time)

• Drafting, Reviewing, editing different files like Motions, Notices, Discovery, Petitions, Answers and e- filing them on e-file Tx. Calendared deadlines and reminders.

• Filed citations, writs, subpoenas, out for service.

• Follow-up on signed orders we filed with the Court.

• Different calls to the court clerks around the State of Texas. 2018-2020 Administrator A – Mexican Tax Agency SAT ; Tax Lawyer (Large Taxpayers Administration).

• In 2019 Hydrocarbons was absorbed by the large taxpayers Administration.

• In charge of programming 70 audits per year which were reviewed and approved by the General Large taxpayers Committee to authorize their review.

• Developed and implemented key business indicators matrix to identify significant collection variations that led to the Oil and Gas Sector audits.

• Audit payments from the Oil companies in the extraction field. Supervising that collection was send to the States in Mexico geographically affected by the oil perforation and extraction.

• Review the legal cases from the Legal Department to be aware of any mistake done on the audits to make sure nobody repeats those mistakes that made the SAT lose the trials.

• Collection from the Administration in 2019 was 4 billion dollars and for 2020, after all the audits we programmed, went up to 10 billion dollars.

• Between 25 and 30 people under my supervision.

2015 Administrator A – Mexican Tax Agency SAT Tax Lawyer (Hydrocarbons Administration).

• Helped with the legal role of the new Hydrocarbons Administration at the SAT, functions and responsibilities. Analysis of the main certificates and authorizations the Federal Government was asking to the new oil and gas investors.

• Learning and receiving training from the Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo about the Oil & Gas Companies investments after the Energetic Reform in Mexico.

• Preparing the SAT to start audits once the oil and gas companies were reliable for the taxes.

• Managed up to 15 people under my supervision.

2010-2012 Administrator B Core Competencies Model- Mexican Tax Agency SAT (Strategic Planning Administration).

• Manager of the Change Administration in the Project: Institutional Architecture lead by Accenture. We instrumented the national campaign to accept the new way of working at the SAT.

• Partnered with Accenture as a consultant to restructure the vision and the overall company, established new metrics and led the implementation with 34000 employees.

• The process mapping was about 62,000 processes nationally in the SAT in five dimensions or levels: Legal, Processes, Information, Organization and Technology.

• Meetings with the Chief of SAT and the Board of Members to define Mission, Vision and Objectives from the Organization.

2007-2010 Administrator C – Mexican Tax Agency SAT (Taxpayer Services Administration).

• Coordination of more than a hundred employees helping taxpayers to file their tax returns.

• In charge of the employees training.

• Leader of the fiscal educational program for the kids.

• Supervisor of hundreds of daily procedures done by the taxpayers, coordinating the appointments, the quality of the service and the transparency of the processes. 2005-2007 Under Administrator – Mexican Tax Agency SAT Mexico Customs Administration

• In charge of the passenger s custom in the International area of the 35th biggest Airport in the world and the biggest in Mexico, reviewing more than 17 million passengers per year.

• I sent drugs and illegal money to the Mexican Prosecutors, at least 3 times per week. Collaborated with the Airport Authorities detaining incriminated persons, related to the illegal merchandise.

• Initiated hundreds of Administrative Customs Processes (PAMA s), that later were sent to the Legal Department of Customs.

• Managed up to 150 people under my team.
