Served as lead PeopleSoft/OCI engineer for HCM 9.2 migration to OCI infrastructure. Performed Peopletools upgrade from 8.55 to 8.59 on customer’s platform. Assisted customer with OCI licensing, subscriptions along with capacity planning, provisioning VMs, storage and downloading OCI Cloud migration utilities. Worked with customer to implement IAM, this includes tenancy, compartments, polices, users and groups. Worked with dba to import data into new cloud db instances using datapump. Worked with customer’s engineers to perform software installations on Linux and Windows servers using dpk puppet installation setup for web and app domains. Installed Change Assistant and performed prp and hcm updates. Worked with networking team to install and setup an oci flexible load balancer on production instance. Reviewed memory and CPU resources on all production servers. Advised customer to create multiple Process Schedulers to increase performance for 24/7 batch processing. Worked with DBA to review and modify database init.ora parameters for increased performance. Installed and setup Oracle Enterprise Manager to monitor Peoplesoft processes. Reviewed and applied current patches for database, tuxedo, weblogic and SES. Installed Oracle Virtual box and loaded 17, 18 and 21 FSCM/SCM images. Downloaded 855 PeopleTools change package and upgraded a copy of production from 854.12 to 855.06. Loaded image 17 and created change package for 11 FSCM/SCM modules, applied change package to copy of production. Created Weblogic and App server domains for non-production and production environments. Installed and configured SES and Integration Broker for preliminary and UAT testing. Installed and assisted with Mobile Inventory configuration. Performed client upgrade assessments and upgrade presentations. Worked with Solution Architects to estimate pricing for all aspects of technical upgrade. PeopleSoft Upgrades performed CRM88 to 9.2 and HCM 9.1 to 9.2 as well as tools upgrade from 8.5X to 8.54. Installed Oracle virtual box and imported CRM, FSCM and HCM 9.2 images, installed Change Assistant and configured Update Manager to create and apply change packages to development and test environments. Technical lead for Oracle PeopleSoft On-Demand implementations, migrations and full Application Upgrades. Technical upgrades performed FSCM 8.8SP1 to 9.1., HCM 8.9 to 9.0, recently 9.0 to 9.2, Portal 8.9 to 9.1, ELM 9.0 to 9.1, CRM 8.9 to 9.0, and Tools Upgrade from 8.4X to 8.50, 8.51, 8.52 and 8.53. From kick-off meeting until go-live my team and I handle all technical aspects of the implementations, migrations and upgrades. This includes taking a copy of customer’s production database and code trees and recreating customer’s environment in Oracle on Demand data centers. Responsibilities also include System Administration, DBA and configuration of customer’s internal and external interfaces from On Demand to customer’s external vendors.
