KPN client has followed the AGILE methodology, like under a Release many ITERATIONS. The way of KPN UP of working is like they will start the design before the iteration starts. Currently I’m working on this project as BRM Designer / Developer. The design team will get the requirement details from client and communicate to supply (Development Team) team what needs to be delivering as par the current iteration.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1). Creating new Products & Discounts in one environment and preparing *.xml file for the same to deploy into different environments like ST, SIT, FIT.

2). Triggering Product SYNC and make sure the same to be smooth. I mean the same Product SYNC needs to be updated in SIEBEL via AIA.

3). Fixing the issues between BRM and AIA like PRODUCT SYNC, ACCOUNT SYNC.

4). Fixing the Production Bugs in BRM.

5). Handling Release Management process like creating new package and testing the created package it contains all related files are there or not.

6). Working on POC like DSG (Discount Sharing Group) for different level’s of accounts.

7). Involved Discounts Configuration in BRM. I was configured the Discounts like Usage and Recurring.

8). Involved in Implementing Product Categorization of Discounts in BRM as well as Sequential Discounts.

9). Worked into Internal Project called “GOPIB”, basically KPN wants to create groups of accounts like Carpenter, Plumber, Govt Employees and every account is having its own Contract Object. KPN wants to give the discounts to this group of people, for this they want to create different groups of Contract Framework which will give the discounts at their Service Level.

10. Involved in creating custom WSDL’s, new storable object’s XSD and Schema files, give it to Fusion (MW) Team for deploying the same into their end.

11. Deploying ORACLE Patches into different environments like ST, SIT, FIT and testing the same, whether they have any impact on current implementation. Tracking of ORACLE SR’s like follow up with ORACLE support team to get the solution as soon as possible for that attending OWC session to explain the issues clearly.

12. Involved in BRM Upgrade process from 7.3.1 to 7.4. Independently Worked on different issues while doing BRM upgrade, the issues are like Performance side as well as normal conceptual Tasks (Discounts, Order’s got failed at Fusion side, and Testnap etc.) of BRM.

13. Created new Tax Codes for BRM, The Tax Codes has been created / updated for pipeline Module as well as Infranet Module.

14. Configured the IFW synchronization process, which sync up to the new events to pipeline through IFW Queue.

Title: Data Migration Framework for Royal KPN

KPN is a leading Telecom service provider in NEDERLAND. KPN is having good reputation in the country. KPN is providing different kinds of service to their customers like IPTV, VOIP, & IP. In this project two different stream like SUPPLY and Maintenance, this involves in different kinds of Products like BRM, AIA, SIEBEL CRM, and CORDYS etc.

KPN contains another stream called IPTV billing, they want to migrate all customers from this IPTV stream (called MULTIPLY) to Consumer Market (Called CM). I’m responsible of migrating customers from both BRM & AIA to Target system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1). Installed CMT tool and configured accordingly to contain both source DB and Target DB details.

2). I have Written few Perl scripts which are validated as below:

Read the Value of Flag from KPN_CMT_MIGRATIONFLAG_T table and check if the flag value is 0 or 1.

If the Flag value is 0 then do not load the data and exit.

If the Stop Flag is 1 then continue to load the data.

Read the value of Batch ID provided as Input parameter.

Retrieve the file details and update status of the file in KPN_CMT_FILE_CONTROL_T table to 1(1 =Processing InProgress).

Execute pin_cmt -import command to load the data.

After successful importing a File, update the status in KPN KPN_CMT_FILE_CONTROL_T table to 2(2 = Import Completed).

Invoke database trigger to check the count of products, services, discounts for each UCM in the batch, SubBatch.

Update KPN_MIGRATION_BATCH_T table with status 1 or 2 (1 = Verification OK and 2 = Verification NOK).

Move the xml file to $PIN_HOME/apps/cmt/CMT_LoadScript/Archive directory

4). Involved in building/calling main script like pin_cmt (Both options like import & deploy) inside Perl script.

5). Implemented Stored procedures calls inside Perl scripts.

6). Written a utility in Perl which will generate input xml files for pin_cmt tool and the same is used for Performance Testing.

7). Written PERL scripts using SQLLDR utility, SQLLDR utility loads the data directly into DB. Performance factor this utility loads the data very faster. This SQLLDR utility takes an input of user/password@oracle_sid & control file. Here control file plays major role like which table the data needs to be loaded and their structure, its column delimiter details and mode of data load like append etc.

8). Written PERL scripts by using PCMIF library.

9). Customized PREP_BILLINFO policy opcode which can define the new DOM (Day of Month) for new customers.

Customer Profile (A WiMAX license holder in Malaysia):

YTLC Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Bizsurf (M) Sdn Bhd) holds a Microwave Access (WiMAX) license for a 2.3 GHz wireless broadband access spectrum, which was awarded by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

The company is currently planning to provide nationwide WiMAX-based services through the three super-pops located at Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor and the 8 state-pops located at Melaka, Negeri Sembilian, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang.

Project Description:

In YTLC’s WiMAX network, Samsung is providing the Radio Access Stations (RAS), Access Control Router (ACR)/ASNGW and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) equipments and Cisco is required to design and provide the network connectivity in the IP core. Tech Mahindra is giving solution for BSS (Billing Support Systems).

This project completely a development project, OBRM provides end-to-end Billing solutions. Basically YTLC provides three kinds of services to their customer: Wimax Data, IMS & Interconnect. In OBRM for real-time charging we have used Diameter AAA protocol, which does the end-to-end billing of customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1). I was worked in this project from the scratch; I mean to say from OBRM server installation to Deployment activities.

It exposes APIs and applications to different systems for provisioning billing accounts & services, CDR rating, billing accounts, processing payments and invoicing accounts. Also provide feeds to down stream systems - - GL, datawarehouse, commissions and revenue assurance, credit and collection systems.

Working as an application Developer. Analysis and bug-fixing of issues/tickets related to Rating, Billing and Invoice generating utilities of Infranet (Both AUS and NZ).
