Traffic control/Flagger
Pavement Surface Control - Kennewick, WA
March 2023 to September 2023
I will call a truck attached with a 20 foot trailer load it with barrels and we would
drive to the Seattle Area and We Would Shut Down one of the Highway Lanes at
Night a 1/2 a mile at a time we would lay down the barrels and then we would pick
up once the heavy highway team was done and moved up another half a mile and
shut that down and we would keep going a half a mile at a time loading and
unloading the barrels and making sure that they were safe to work at night. Then
later on I started working here a closer to home and once I came closer to home it
was less of traffic control and more flagging so me and my partner would lay down
the traffic signs and shut down a lane and we would stand in opposite sides and
take turns letting traffic go through the one open lane and we would do that until
the heavy highway team was done.
