Julia Dailey

To whom it may concern,

I have worked in engineering, project management, manufacturing technology, and continuous improvement for 14 years, and I would like to continue to develop new skills and take on new challenges in a full-time position in the Coeur D’Alene area. Following my husband’s Air Force moves across the country has provided me with broad experiences and practiced adaptability. We are now looking to make our home in CDA, where our family has aimed for decades.

I have been working with Anheuser-Busch as a Capital Projects Engineer since July 2022. I invested millions of dollars in capital projects, leading changeovers of critical equipment in brewing, packaging and logistics. I am currently finalizing my PSM certification, allowing me to oversee projects involving our ammonia systems. Balanced with my workload, I continuously support our community outreach efforts, heading our FairField of Dreams project, aimed at restoring an AB-owned baseball field for community use. I started and owned a Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser, which raised $10k in support of this amazing cause. On a short and long term basis, I manage our site contractors, holding them to our safety and quality standards. I worked for Cargill for 6 years, between 4 years in Cargill Dayton corn milling, and 2 years in Cargill Newark Salt. I participated in diverse activities, including supervision of up to 24 operators on 24/7 operation of our facility, implementation of capital projects, process management, and continuous improvement. I was accountable for process optimization, resource management, and energy optimization to control and answer for a budget of about $10 million annually, with monthly reports to offsite leadership. I led and closed two GreenBelt Projects and worked together with local and regional teams to implement change and improvements for the site. I earned a Cargill Lean Leader greenbelt, improving my proficiency with kaizens and other continuous improvement tools including completion of the Lean Leader course in February 2019. For development and as part of my course to BlackBelt certification, I acted as local lead for a large-scale BlackBelt project led by a regional resource, and I mentored a local team through the undertakings of their individual GreenBelt projects.

Prior to my time with Cargill, I worked across broad industries, including aerospace, government contracting, and oil and gas. Starting in March 2020, I took a sabbatical that ended in my resignation from Cargill. The combination of my husband’s deployment with the Air Force and the difficulties of finding childcare during the pandemic led me to separate from Cargill on good terms in March 2021, able to return if I am in the right location at any time.

Throughout my experience, I developed my skills as a leader and technical skills in continuous improvement, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, project design, implementation and management, and supervision. I would appreciate the chance to discuss opportunities to continue growing with your company. Thank you for your time and consideration,

Julia Dailey
