B Co: Served as a First Sergeant for the Field Maintenance Company in support of the 307th Brigade Support Battalion that includes a Ground Support Maintenance Platoon, Mechanical Maintenance Platoon, COMSEC/Electronic Maintenance Section, Electronic Missile Systems Maintenance Section, and an Armament Repair Section; assists the commander in planning, coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities that support the brigade; advises the commander on enlisted matters to include duty assignments, promotions, military justice, awards, professional development, equal opportunity and property accountability of over $22 million worth of equipment; responsible for the readiness, discipline, training, health and welfare of 91 Soldiers and their Families.
J Co: Served as a First Sergeant for the Forward Support Company in support of the 2nd Battalion 501st Infantry Regiment that includes a Distribution Platoon, Maintenance Platoon and a Food Service Section; assists the commander in planning, coordinating, and supervising all logistical activities that support the battalion; advises the commander on enlisted matters to include duty assignments, promotions, military justice, awards, professional development, equal opportunity and property accountability of over $22 million worth of equipment; responsible for the readiness, discipline, training, health and welfare of 76 Soldiers and their Families.
Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
●Responsible for the troubleshooting, inspections and major repairs of heavy equipment, such as diesel-powered light, medium and heavy wheeled systems, as well as cranes, forklifts and small engine equipment. These systems include gas and diesel engines, differentials, power transitions, transfer cases, suspension systems, steering systems, air brakes, and related fuel, electrical and hydraulic systems.
●Responsible for maintaining records of repairs and maintenance and submits required documentation for maintenance repairs. Performs maintenance management for a diverse fleet of light, medium, and heavy vehicles, equipment, trailers and calibration tools. Follows up and tracks progress to ensure maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner. Dispatches, records and reports equipment utilization.

Serves as the Maintenance Management NCO for HHB DIVARTY 319th AFAR which serves as a rapid reaction contingency force capable of deploying within 18 hours. Maintains the battalion readiness posture, assisting in the ability to conduct no-notice worldwide deployments on a full spectrum of operations; responsible for analyzing, planning, coordinating and monitoring of all logistical activities for three Field Artillery Battalions. Monitors and manages the readiness rate of 4,088 pieces of equipment worth $25,618,768. Additionally, serves as Platoon Sergeant and is responsible for the health, training and welfare of eight NCOs and 30 Soldiers.
Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

transport on public roads throughout the installation. Able to operate hydraulic and mechanical cranes to move airdropped loads from drop zones and work sites and place on flat bed trailers. Determines safe lifting capacities and load weights, rigs crane outriggers assemblies and maneuvers boom.
●Conducts inspections of completed repairs by shop personnel. Evaluates work performance that has
been completed to ensure that it has been completed in accordance with standards and specifications.
