I am responsible for run day to day operations both in the store and the restaurant. I am accountable for ordering, stocking and maintenance of the store. I also assist with customer and employee problems using the B.L.A.S.T method. I have been making the schedule for the store, and hiring, coaching and development of employee’s. I have assisted in training all employees from TM’s, up to and including, but not limited to Operations Managers. I have accompanied other managers with the opening of several new stores and the training of all employees. I have traveled to other stores to help with audits and implanting current P.O.G’s and organizing of back rooms.

My responsibilities at Dirt Cheap are to open and close the store. Other duties I have are: counting drawers and the safe, making deposits, doing bank runs, maintenance of the store (cleaning, stocking shelves, running cash register when needed), and making the weekly schedule. I order all the supplies and merchandise we would receive for the week. I also help load and unload the merchandise delivery trucks when necessary. I work with customers (and employees) with any complications that arise, and help resolve the issues to a fair agreement. I have prevented many shoplifters from stealing.

I was responsible for opening and closing the park. I was responsible for in processing classes of up to 900 soldiers when they arrived for their advance training. My other responsibilities included: Teaching the classes for the soldiers, setting up their transportation around post, setting up the graduation ceremony, creating the completion certificates, and then I would out process once the term was completed. I assisted the Ordnance School with the development of the Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP); which is now the current Standard Operating Procedure I achieved Senior Army Instructor Badge. I managed a program of instruction for training individuals for a total of 382 hours. I was obligated to oversee the health and wellbeing of 128 individuals and their families. I was also responsible for the quality of 44 different subject areas to align instruction given to Advanced Leader Course for Bradley Maintainers.
