Goal: As a seasoned veteran of the residential mortgage industry, I have experienced all facets of this business - from Origination to Processing to Underwriting. My goal is to continue to follow up on updates to all All-regs, and agency guidelines/requirements.
Qualifications: I have worked with all types of loans, from Conventional, to Jumbo, Conforming, and Non-conforming programs. HELOC’s, and Assumptions. I have the ability to analyze income as well as review credit, in order to determine compliance with the wide array of qualifications guidelines for the diverse loan programs available. I have earned many certifications over time and continue to educate myself as the underwriting field requires.
Education: 2006-2007 Residential Mortgage Guideline training – TCF Bank.
1997-2003 FHLMC, FNMA guideline seminars, CHAFA, CHAC, Aurora Hoap assistance programs, and others. I have assisted with FHA underwriting and their programs.

Analyze all aspects of individual loan credit risk to ensure that loans originated meet secondary market guidelines and requirements.
Underwrite, Jumbo, Conforming, and Non-conforming programs.
Review and evaluate loan files for risk issues and potential fraud and/or misrepresentation.
Review and evaluate information on mortgage loan documents to determine if buyer, property, and loan conditions meet established credit guidelines.
Coordinates underwriting activities with loan processor, client manager, and/or broker to ensure loan requirements are met; notifies loan production personnel of incomplete files to obtain appropriate information necessary to complete loan packages.
Ensures and upholds fair lending practices; meets targets for productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Analyze appraisals to ensure loan collateral meets valuation standards and value is supported.
