Paul David Holling, CPM seeking a position as a Construction Project Manager in Commercial Real Estate

I am a recently semi-retired native from southern California now living in Scottsdale Arizona, and have been married for 26 years to my wife Elowina. We have a 20-year-old daughter named Madison who is attending ASU pursuing a degree in Film Editing. My wife operates a business from our home.

My career has been exclusively associated with commercial real estate for over 44 years.

My most recent 16-year experience included Director of Construction for Continental Development Corporation in El Segundo, California (www.continentaldevelopment.com) where I was responsible for the development and expansion of the company portfolio as well as joint venture projects with Torrance Memorial Hospital. During my tenure, I over-saw new ground-up construction, remodels, and redevelopments, and supervised tenant improvement work for a 4,000,000 square feet of commercial and retail portfolio. I managed a staff of four Construction Managers, two Space Planners, and one administrative position.

Notable projects included:

Ground up construction of a 75,000 square foot, three story, Class A medical office facility for Torrance Memorial Hospital.

Ground up construction of four multi-tenant retail pads with an average of 20,000 square feet of finished product.

Partial demolition of a 155,000 square foot industrial building that was converted to a Class A office facility for Kinecta Federal Credit Union.

Construction Management of 20+ commercial retail buildouts including Eddie V’s, Paul Martin’s, Grimaldi’s, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Shake Shack, Flemings, Five Guys, Chase Bank, UNIFY Financial Credit Union, Fogo de Chao, BevMo, and Mother’s Market.

Repositioned a two story, 81,000 square foot manufacturing facility in order to house the National Veterinary Association (NVA).

Tenant improvement management of 1.0 million square feet of office space in an existing 4.0 million square foot portfolio.
