Wasa scholar participating in labs amongst my peers, learning and doing research with several mentors, while also being a mentor myself. Exploits include tours around labs and interacting with technology, molecular biology labs, protein chemistry techniques, and instances of electrophoresis. As I am a part of this organization, I was required to do scientific research.
Laboratory Manager/ Mentor
Duties include:
Opening and shutting down the lab when necessary
Analyze experimental data and interpret results to write reports and summaries of findings.
Assist in developing, improving, and trouble-shooting laboratory experiment and isolate, identify and prepare specimens for examinations.
