+1-518-***-****

I am highly experienced in sales, customer service, management and anything law or investigative related. I have a degree in police sciences and have taken the NYS Trooper exams, as well as the Saratoga County Sheriffs exam. Prior to Covid, I also owned a successful business for 6 years with a main focus being on retail and I am currently seeking a company that I can give the same passion and knowledge to that I did with my own business. I take pride in being a very quick learner, having the ability to easily learn any job or task at hand. I also have an uncanny ability to pay attention to detail due to my years in college for law enforcement. Although I may have owned and ran a successful business of my own, my previous years of managerial experience have taught me that all management positions may require adaptability, meaning that my managerial style at my business may differ from that of an employer. For this reason, I am very adaptable and I am not set in my managerial ways! Any good manager understands this and adapts. Being a good manager is not only about managing the current company employed with but also the understanding and ability to be adaptable to any manager style a future employer may find more suitable for their industry and employees. My goal with any employer I am employed with is to exceed the expectations of the employer that hires me!

Work Experience

Financial/Operations Manager

Busy Bees 518 LLC - Troy, NY

May 2022 to Present

I do all the "back end" work for Busy Bees 518 LLC. This includes but is not limited to, financial advisement, business management, taxes, payroll, HR, marketing, search engine optimization, and public relations. My goal with providing business management and consulting is to help provide the best possible routes for success for a small business, running in NYS. I have helped to take the workload off of my employer, allowing for more of her focus to be on her clients and the development of those important relationships! Founder and CEO

Vaped and Confused LLC - Gansevoort, NY

February 2015 to December 2021

I started the business 3 months out of college. Within 6 months, the business was in the black. It was a retail business, therefore I was in charge of everything related to retail. Customer engagement was always my 1st priority! Engaging customers helped create loyalty and repeat customers! I engaged with customers in a way that built a trusting and lasting relationship! A lot of customers i had still contact me today with questions involving the CBD industry! I also did Inventory control, payroll, taxes, ordering, hiring/firing. I spent a lot of time one on one with customers, vendors, manufacturers and wholesalers. I attended conventions as both a guest and a vendor. I have great suggestive and upsetting ability.

My greatest skill set comes in the form of being a people person! I have an uncanny ability to understand and give a person what they want and may need! My final year in business, I did 1.2 million in sales and I only closed up due to legislation put in place by the NYS government against the vape industry. General Manager

Tobacco World - South Glens Falls, NY

September 2013 to January 2015

I was in charge of day to day operations for this business. Handling inventory, ordering, payroll, taxes, customer relations and sales! I spent countless hours networking with both distributors and manufacturers! The final year I was employed with this company, I brought them in almost 1 million in sales!

Store Manager

Subway - Schuylerville, NY

January 2011 to August 2012

I was in charge of anything related to management. Food costs and ordering, payroll and scheduling. Bonuses were given based on food costs and payroll costs. My main goal for being brought in was to bring the team of 2 stores together. The teams were falling short of expectations and I was hired to "revamp" both stores. I exceeded expectations to the point of being offered a salary management position! I had to decline because college started up and I could not do 60+ hours while in college! Line Cook/Prep Cook

Fitzgerald's Restaurant - Gansevoort, NY

January 2010 to December 2010

I started as a dishwasher for this company. My ambitions are always set high for any job and because this, I would hop on the line when all of my current work was done, to learn from the head chef of the kitchen. Within 3 weeks, the owner offered me a line cook position because of the initiative I took to learn on my own, while working another position. I was then moved from one location, to another to help run the line. In a matter of 2 weeks, they had me running broiler station and sandwich station for both lunch and dinner shifts. This is where I was able to become proficient in meat temps! Soon after, I took the initiative to learn the hand tossed pizza station so that I was able to run the entire lunch shift solo on the line and that is what happened. I was soon put in charge of lunch shifts with 1 fellow chef, mainly acting as sous chef.

Lead

Dunkin Donuts - Queensbury, NY

January 2008 to January 2010

I worked a total of 2 years at Dunkin Donuts! I started at the Glens Street Dunkin donuts. I was then placed as the assistant manager of the Dunkin Donuts in the Jolly Gas station in Queensbury NY when it opened. Shortly after, South Glens Falls location needed a fill in due to management issues and the current manager leaving. I was able to fill in and boost the drive thru times and build up the team at SGF location to be successful upon my leave! I resigned from this position due to scheduling conflicts and poor management of the location I worked at during the current time. When I left Dunkin, I was very proficient at every aspect of the job, especially ensuring that drive thru orders were sent out during the

"green time". I can probably still do all of the work required during my time at Dunkin without the need for refreshing my knowledge on the job duties!

Additional Information

The best asset I can bring to the table, aside from my experience in business, sales, and management, is my adaptability! Most would think that having owned your own business(s) would mean that someone may be stuck in their ways of running a business but that is not the case with me! Each business or employer may require a different management style than one is used to and to me, having good managerial skills means just that. Understanding that your management style may not be what a current employer needs while having the ability to adapt and contribute to the current management style required by the employer at the time. My goal, at the end of the day, is a positive contribution to the current employer I have, while also striving to contribute to the success of any employer's business, as if it were my own!
