ABAP S4 HANA 1909 Architect/Developer

Functioned as a Senior SAP ABAP developer designing and developing Asset Accounting reports in ABAP consuming data from S/4 1909.

Designed and developed CDS views in Asset Management, specifically for Asset Accounting depreciation reporting in S/4 HANA.

I used quality inspections to determine the company’s products to meet the quality requirements. Material inspections were used to check adherence to a material or product using inspection specifications that were predefined during inspection planning.

Developed UI5/Fiori for new transaction based functionality in ECC.

The business analysts used the BOPF configuration model to simplify configuration of some Business Objects.

I created a Z copy of BOPF interface node class API IF_FRW_NODE and redefined the method RETRIEVE_DEFAULT_VALUES to set some default dates, languages and countries.

I used standard methods like QUERY, RETRIEVE and RETRIEVE BY ASSOCIATION to read the data and display it as report output.

I used BOPF (BOB and BOBF) to create database tables from structures modeled from new business objects.

I added other methods in order to query values for reporting.

Responsible for migration of ECC and legacy systems to S/4 HANA where Migration Cockpit was used for SAP systems and SAP data services was used for non-SAP system migration.

HR data was migrated to S/4 HANA with conversion of HCM employees to business partners.

I identified ANSII x12 standard forms for mapping HR and Financial data.

The evaluation of the purchase of an EDI sub system included Sterling’s Gentran code generator/translator and Harbinger’s TrustedLink data mapping tool.

Some ANSII X12 DOCS were mapped to SAP IDOCS and used for data exchange between SAP systems.

The client imported materials from abroad in big containers and then those containers were unloaded into one big branch (plant) as it was cost efficient to import materials in bulk to one location. Next, other smaller branches (plans) raised SAP stock transfer order (STO) to purchase stock from big branch for the quantity required. The big branch dispatched the quantity against the STO on the mentioned delivery dates.

BODS, Data Services, was use for some of the ETL coming from non-sap systems and databases to HANA.

SLT was used for real-time data extraction. SAP HANA studio was used in modeler perspective with quicklaunch to select Data Provisioning where the proper schemas were selected and replicated for the selection of the source tables that were configured for loading to the SLT server.

SLT was also used to extract real-time data from source files.
