Schumacher Clinical Partners purchased SymMetric Revenue Solutions, Inc. in June of 2016.

Schumacher Clinical Partners is a company located in Lafayette, LA, with ten offices across the United States. The company has a workforce of over 5,000 employees and more than 7,200 providers. During my time as the Manager of Datacenter Operations, my primary responsibility was to manage and maintain all the enterprise data center environments, servers, storage, SQL databases, and backups. I also oversaw a team of four Network Engineers/Administrators.

SymMetric Revenue Solutions is a subsidiary of ECI Health Care Partners (ECIHP), with over 325 employees and 1,500 physicians across offices located in Traverse City, MI, Fort Myers, FL, Brentwood, TN, and Paduka, KY. As the Director of Network and Operations, my main responsibility was to manage and maintain all technology and system-related issues. I directly supervised eight employees based in the US, who comprised the Helpdesk and Network teams, and three Network admins in India. Additionally, I was in charge of managing the programming and application groups. I reported directly to the Chief Information Officer and the company's owners.

Responsibilities include:

The management of the IT staff. This includes the Helpdesk, Network, and Programmers groups. In addition to our US-based team, I managed four network administrators from India who provided overnight coverage.

Responsible for the upkeep and stability of all technology systems throughout the organization. This included all Network Infrastructure, data & voice communications, phone systems and call centers, audio and video conference systems, and the medical billing image and workflow system.

Improved IT disciplines and best practices by Implementing a Change Management process throughout the IT department. This process significantly reduced the number of incidents and unscheduled outages.

Implemented a Service Catalog to define services offered to the business. This included Incidents, problems, service request tracking, and reporting.

Implemented a reliable and user-friendly remote access environment, utilizing Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. This environment supported over 300 remote users from the US and over 53 medical coders from India. This solution allowed SymMetric to use offshore coding while minimizing exposure to HIPAA information.

Performed a security audit, which included our client-facing in-house developed applications, internet access points, and firewalls.

I replaced the legacy PBX Phone system with a new VoIP ShoreTel phone system. This included the implementation of multiple call centers, remote VPN phones, web meetings and instant messaging, voice integration, and data integration.

Dramatically reduced operational expenses and minimized risk by implementing Wyse Thin clients instead of desktop PCs.

Provided multiple technical and business educational classes such as Project Management, SharePoint, ShoreTel Desktop Director, Use of PowerPoint, Data Security, organizing a Meeting, Employee Retention and Team Building, Presenting to Executives, and Disaster Preparation.

Played a crucial role in integrating ECIHP and Schumacher's networks and systems.

Successfully migrated 300 ECIHP users to Office365. This included migrating all on-premises Exchange mailboxes to Office365 and all user accounts and PCs to Schumacher's Domain.
