Work Experience
Inventory Control Specialist
Halliday construction co. Llc - Sunbright, TN
August 2001 to September 2021
I began employment with halliday a clear cutting co. When in 1996 my husband and his power line crew
became an addition to halliday to bring them into the power line constructing business. I was shown
warehouse section with no organization. Within 3 mths I had built shelves and bins with rows of cabinets
that I labeled and categorized to hold all material needed to complete the utility poles for service. I also
made ready the material the crews needed to take out with them on their road projects. I made ready
work trailers with material they needed to do their road jobs with. I kept all the inventory in handwriting.
In triplicate. Every piece that went out and came back in was added or subtracted. I used a forklift to
unload the trucks that came in, I kept all records of activity and persona in the shop. I communicated with
residential and manufacturer customers on a daily basis. Kept open communication with other utilities
personnel around the crews. Kept track of time and scheduling. Relayed all data and work orders as
well as needed material lists I acquired thru project managers within the company and other electric
cooperatives to my foreman. During this employment I filled in on right of way cutting crews and power
line construction crews. I operated a digger derelict truck to move and set poles as well as transfer reels
of rope and wire into the bull puller or rope tensioner. I was employed here for approx 20 years. My
reason for leaving was my husband took on the position as traveling foreman for crews to perform storm
restoration after hurricanes and floods and storms.
Injection Molding Machine Operator
Jds technologies - Oneida, TN
June 1995 to January 2001
Beginning employment I was assigned as a sander. My job was to operate a Sandra/grinder to smoothe
out the ends of the 2 inch to 8 inch o rings. After I would complete a box of 100 I would inspect each
individual o ring for any flaws or anything that would make the ring less than 100% good quality. Then
I was assigned to operating an injection machine that produced black tarp straps. The straps would be
very hot when coming out and we were to insert the steel hooks in each end and then box them for
inspection who put their tags on, boxed them and loaded onto a pallet and then wrapped for shipping. .
To begin I would check machine, check the paper work from the previous shift to see if there was any
notes problems in the molding or any machine would take a small piece of the black rubber material load
it into a tray somewhat like a bakíng tray . Touching the correct buttons would close machine and begin
the heating process . When it was time the machine would open up and slide out the trays of the finished
product. There i would bring out the products separate them each with a box cutter knife and visually do
a scan for any flaws. Next I learned how to make 4he 2 inch rings by the same process and tarp straps.
It was pretty hot in there in the summer and cool in the winter . We had to watch using fans bc it would
cool off the machines and cut down the quality of the product.
