• Metadata repository and web-based user interface that imports and publishes metadata from a Business Data Definition Matrix

(valid values), database catalogue, database roles / privs, ERwin models, and ETL application lineage from the EME repository to 800+ users.

• Designed, developed and deployed the automation of several marketing and risk predictive models via ETL applications that extract and combine account, customer, transaction, credit bureau, authorization, applicant information which is staged and fed into a SAS model coded by the business and run in the ETL scoring engine. The score results were then published to analytical and operational databases for use in decisioning in batch mode as well as the central card processing mainframe for use in real- time line increase or authorization decisioning.

• Improved quality of information services in Chase DWH by defining, socializing and implementing defensive programming best practices in ETL applications to proactively identify problems in data quality before analysts or other applications can consume inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Worked across business lines at Chase to design, develop and deploy data exchange applications to enable customer matching and information sharing across retail and card businesses; these services were key to compliance with customer privacy regulations, improving risk and marketing decision strategies by providing customer and household information across products in multiple business lines (mortgage, checking account, credit cards, HELOC, etc.).

• Led team of developers to work across business lines on merger and acquisition efforts impacting the warehouse by building

"bridge" applications that fed legacy retail systems until customers and accounts were consolidated onto permanent servicing platforms.

• Reduced customer impacts via phone and web channels as well as operating expenses by working across lines of business to create an inventory of recurring conditions that denegrate information quality and cause customer information maintenance transactions to fail, and working with technology teams in the chase retail business to implement code changes to reduce thousands of rejects per day to less than 10 per month. • Developed, tested and implemented ETL application to validate and process account, authorization, transaction information from TSYS IP platform and populate Stored Value Card Data Mart

• Developed, tested and implemented a bi-directional exchange of information between the Enterprise DWH and the Card DWH in order to enable integration of card’s account and customer information to the Retail Data Mart in the EDW. Once this integration was complete, the second main component of this ETL application received interface files from the EDW and populated a dimensional model in the Card DWH to enable cross-selling with other business lines in the firm as well as allowing operational areas that interact with customers to evaluate decisions based on behaviours demonstrated with other product relationships a customer might have as well as customer and household level marketing and risk factors which were previously not available. • Enhanced a daily interface feed to retail systems mainframe that enabled a customer to link their checking account to one of their Chase credit cards for overdraft protection.
