Work Experience
Secrerary/Bookeeper
James Woodward Jr Trucking LLC - Franklinton, LA
October 2017 to Present
My husband started a trucking business in October of last year, and I am the one who handles all of the paperwork by making sure that his load tickets are properly filled out daily, and I file them. If one or more of them arent right then it would affect the price, payment, our weekly check, and taxes. So, it is very important that I make sure they are all done right. I pay a lot of attention to things, big/small. I purchase all the office supplies as needed, and I also do all of the cleaning and take care of the office. I use a laptop computer daily, telephone, fax machine, scanner, copier, calculator, and safe on a daily basis also. I have worked in customer service for about 15 yrs. I also worked in management for 3yrs. I love to be able to help people anyway that I can. Sales Associate In The Pharmacy
Walmart Supercenter - Covington, LA
December 2012 to August 2013
I was hired on for a temporary postition in the pharmacy working as a closing cashier two nights, and stocking and setting up new merchandise three days a week. I worked the register and the computer to look up customers information and to also put their information in the computer. Cleaned on both sides of the counter. Kept all the filled prescriptions in ABC order, they were filed by hand manually as they were filled. Stocked all the over the counter shelves as needed. Used a hand held machine to go through the aisles daily and check to see what needed to bed restocked. Used a push dolly/cart to go to the warehouse in the back and pick things that were needed, and pushed them back to the front and stocked the shelves. There was a lot of physical moving daily. I enjoyed working there very much. Hired on as a cashier/Left as a Closing Shift Manager Mcdonalds - Franklinton, LA
August 2002 to September 2004
I started working at mcdonalds as a cashier, and worked the register and took customers orders. I kept the front cleaned, and the bathrooms. I trained in all of the stations in the restaurant, and worked the grill and assembly line making sandwiches. I made schedules, did orientation when needed, hired and fired, and made deposits at the bank daily. I just worked wherever I was needed,or shorthanded at that day. I was very proud that I started when I was 18 yrs old I believe, and I really enjoyed working there, and I also really liked all of my coworkers also. One of my accomplishments at Mcdonalds, was becoming a shift manager before I was 20 yrs old, and my girls were 1 and 2 at the time. I was very proud of that. Education
