Good day!

Sincerely,

Ryan M. Donigan

I am writing to express the interests I have for this position. I have a diverse skill set with experience in project management, employee management, process development, payroll, Employee Training and customer service. For the past three and a half years I was with the government contracts division of Favorite Healthcare Staffing. I was part of a fast-paced group that was formed to rapidly deploy healthcare workers to facilities across the country in response to Covid. As the project manager for payroll customer support, I took directions from upper-level executives (specifically the CEO, 3 VPs and 4 Department Managers) and managed a team (6 – 28 temp employees) that fielded and researched payroll issues to be communicated with and resolved before it would land on the desks or having to pass the ball off to the Payroll or ARs department for healthcare workers deployed and on the front lines. My team was specifically created to maintain the scheduling, while documenting into their individual profiles, auditing the time tracking of employee scheduling to ensure all time was billed and that there was no time fraud or back payments due according to multiple client designations for multiple states payment laws. I was also responsible for developing the standard operating procedures to support our responsibilities for each contract. I consider process development to be one of my strengths. During Covid we had to respond rapidly to new deployments, each with different challenges and frequently those deployments would change overnight and the corresponding processes would have to change. In addition to the developing and training employees on the process, I automated as much of the process as possible using Excel with VBA to create mini-input applications, timecards, reports and automatic auditing.

As a project manager in government contracts, I was in the nexus between payroll, AR, and the executive team and I like to see the big picture so I can satisfy the needs of those I collaborate with. Prior to my position at Favorite Healthcare Staffing, I was part of the team that opened the original permanent Kansas City Bar K location. Bar K is a bar, restaurant and 2.5-acre dog park. As one of the first of its kind I was part of the team that developed the methods that allowed us to safely handle hundreds of off leash dogs and people in close quarters. This involved a developing a new type of canine animal behavioralist training that could spot the signs of aggression before problems developed. Of course, there were also procedures for how to safely deal with dangerous dog/dog and dog/human interaction when it occurred. Of course, we also had to develop everything from park maintenance, landscape maintenance and weather-based procedures to keep dogs safe in KC's extreme heat and cold. The unique situation at a dog bar/park might seem disconnected from the position I’m currently submitting to, but this is where I learned to train people in complex skills and procedure as well as manage and motivate my team through the difficult positions of working outside in KC weather 365 days a year.

I am eager to discuss in more detail how my skills align with the needs of your organization. Please find my resume attached for your reference. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to the possibility of contributing to the continuing success of your team and companies mission!
