Senior Software Engineer, Eliassen Group, Remote (TX) 2/22 - 10/22 I worked on a team that developed and maintained internal product development and marketing tools on AWS. I added and updated REST API endpoints in Golang and integrated the React frontend with the API. Senior Software Engineer, Collabera (Capital One), Plano, TX 7/19 - 5/21 I worked in a cyber security team assisting with ServiceNow updates and requests, monitoring new security policy releases, and creating documentation to support our internal customers. I was also instrumental in helping to refine and improve team processes.

I also worked six months on the GitHub Enterprise team. I helped manage AWS GitHub instances, updated Chef infrastructure configuration, and provided internal user support. On my first program, I contributed to the expansion of an Java-based application simulator using XML-based messaging. Graduate Technical Intern, Rockwell Collins, Inc., Richardson, TX 4/06 – 5/09 While working on my master’s degree, I interned in the modeling and simulation lab and co-authored a paper published by the Military Communications Conference (MILCOM) in 2006. I collaborated on software design in Telelogic Rhapsody using Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF), System Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Modeling Language (UML). Utilizing advanced tactical scenario, network simulation, and 3D visualization software to design graphical network simulations which integrated with actual software-defined radios to validate radio models and provide greater confidence in the simulation. I also helped to build multi-level MetaFlight terrain maps. Utilizing AutoIt, I wrote an application to automate the use of a Windows GUI test tool, allowing regular compliance verification while reducing the number of engineering hours used for testing.
